Brian started working for his father, John Barber, at age 12 doing labor work during the summers. John owned Barber Plumbing and Clayton Construction. He was a talented and detailed oriented mentor who taught Brian a lot. As a young man, Brian spent long hours building up Clayton Construction to the business it is today.
Using our own crew saves time and money for everyone involved with each project. With a crew on hand, there is no need to go through a subcontractor selection process or work around schedules. Crewmembers are familiar with each other and working together. They take pride in their team will be more motivated to complete work on time than a group of individual subcontractors. A project done on time is good for everyone involved.
It also ensures safety and quality of work. Knowledge and experience within a crew of workers is priceless. When crewmembers work together often, they learn from each other. A natural order of things falls into place and each member is known for his or her strengths. They have a respect for their job and adhere to safety policies. They listen to the crew leader more often. Clayton Construction has a clean insurance record with almost 30-years of no insurance payouts.
Hiring Clayton Construction for your project is like hiring a well-oiled machine of professionals. We are ready and willing to work when the time comes. Our crewmembers have bonded as a team. We have worked together on several jobs and know what to expect. If we need more hands to complete the job, we have the opportunity to use subcontractors as a backup plan, if needed. However, our crew is top notch and can handle anything.
We are a family owned and operated business that is licensed and insured for your protection. Our goal is for each of our customers to be satisfied with the outcome of each project and to have a pleasant experience along the way.
