Brian started working for his father, John Barber, at age 12 doing labor work during the summers. John owned Barber Plumbing and Clayton Construction. He was a talented and detailed oriented mentor who taught Brian a lot. As a young man, Brian spent long hours building up Clayton Construction to the business it is today.

Using our own crew saves time and money for everyone involved with each project. With a crew on hand, there is no need to go through a subcontractor selection process or work around schedules. Crewmembers are familiar with each other and working together. They take pride in their team will be more motivated to complete work on time than a group of individual subcontractors.
